NTT DATA, together with a consortium of leading companies, will present an ambitious Catalyst project focused on the Spatial Web at DTW25 - Ignite, taking place in Copenhagen from June 17 to 19. This initiative explores how emerging technologies such as IoT, 5G/6G networks, spatial computing, and open APIs can transform the way we interact with the digital environment—connecting people, devices, physical spaces, and AI agents in a smart and secure network.
The project, led by NTT DATA’s Innovative Telco Solutions and Network Engineering teams, proposes a new communication protocol based on Open Gateway APIs (CAMARA) and TM Forum APIs. This architecture enables operators to manage Spatial Web nodes as a service, enhancing interoperability with partners and unlocking new revenue streams through the implementation of APIs such as TMF936 (Product Catalog) and TMF937 (Product Usage Management).
NTT DATA will showcase how these technologies empower operators to design more targeted marketing campaigns, optimize operations, and enhance customer experiences. Use cases such as geolocation, geofencing, carrier billing, and SIM swap detection will be highlighted. This initiative positions NTT DATA as a key player in the evolution of the digital ecosystem and the creation of value through the Spatial Web.
