Company Recognized for Extensive Set of Cloud Services, Investments in Automation, Strong Ecosystem of Cloud Partners
NTT DATA, a global digital business and IT services leader, has achieved status as a Leader in NelsonHall’s End-to-End Cloud Infrastructure Management Services report for 2022. The designation was earned in all five market segments studied: cloud management services, cloud orchestration services, Microsoft Azure capabilities, AWS capabilities, and overall cloud infrastructure management.
NTT DATA differentiators highlighted in the report include its comprehensive array of toolsets that support hybrid multi-cloud services and investments in proprietary tools such as the Nucleus Cloud Management Platform, which enables enterprises to gain control and visibility without sacrificing speed. The company also has created a set of cloud accelerators and bolstered its offerings through the acquisitions of Flux7 and Nexient.
“In this era of digital disruption, the cloud offers great promise for clients who can manage its capabilities across platforms, industry sectors, geographical regions and service delivery functions,” said Kaz Nishihata, Senior Executive Vice President & Representative Director at NTT DATA Corporation. “Being named a Leader in NelsonHall’s well-respected NEAT report shows that NTT DATA provides the proven methods, best practices and ready-to-run solutions to help clients succeed in their cloud transformation journeys.”
Other strengths listed in the evaluation include NTT DATA’s ongoing investments in automation, AI, ML, and analytics; its strong ecosystem of cloud partners; investments in composable and modular support for cloud-native use cases; and the “migration factory” approach it delivers with technology partner CloudHedge.
The report noted that clients are looking for vendors that are strongly committed to cloud optimization and to using cloud infrastructure management services as an enabler for wider digital transformation. NTT DATA meets these objectives through its wide array of cloud offerings, which include customizable cloud services, application transformation consulting, cloud accelerators, cloud management services and the NTT DATA Unified Cloud Adoption Framework.
“NTT DATA provides multiple customizable services helping clients plan for, move to, and run their workloads in the cloud securely in a hybrid multi-cloud environment, supporting end-to-end cloud transformation,” said John Laherty, Senior Research Analyst at NelsonHall. “It also enables an agile pod approach to deliver cloud services, utilizing the best engineering automation (e.g., DevOps/SRE) and resource mix to maximize large programs' modularity, scalability, and manageability. Key investments include its Nucleus Cloud Management Platform, acquired IP, and accelerators. It is also increasing its cloud-native use cases.”
NelsonHall estimates the global end-to-end cloud infrastructure management services market will grow 6.5% per year, from $195 billion in 2021 to $250 billion by 2025.
The NelsonHall Vendor Evaluation & Assessment Tool (NEAT) analyzes vendor performance based on their ability to deliver immediate benefit and meet client future requirements for cloud infrastructure management. NEAT reports assimilate analysts’ assessments and feedback from vendors’ clients, giving strategic sourcing managers a basis to compare vendors’ capabilities across a range of criteria and business situations.
