This year, we celebrate a decade of the teamwork, innovation and creative breakthroughs that embody our partnership with Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.), organizers of the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. In our role as Official Technology Partner, we’ve taken the fan experience and race operations to new heights. We equip riders, vehicles and race infrastructure with IoT sensors that transmit data in real time, and we deliver detailed insights for fans and organizers of the world’s most iconic cycling event..
The Tour de France men’s event is one of the world’s oldest multistage cycling races. This year, it covers about 3,500km of varying terrain – starting in Florence, Italy, for the first time and ending in Nice, France (the first-ever finish outside Paris). We amplify the impact of this exciting event with real-time, data-based products and services that make the fan experience as thrilling as competing in the race. To create the world’s largest connected stadium, we bring together cloud, data analytics, machine learning and AI, edge computing, cybersecurity, IoT, managed services and smart venues.
Our 10-year technology and innovation partnership with A.S.O. also extends to the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, launched in 2022 with NTT DATA as a founding partner. The event is instrumental in raising awareness of professional women’s cycling and promoting gender parity in the sport. Our efforts have led to massive growth in the viewing audience and rising investment in the sport.
